The purpose of this book is to educate the triathlete and the movement professional about the essential role that low load movement has with regards to endurance training.  There are problems with endurance athletes pertaining to poor and inefficient muscular recruitment and movement strategies. While this book focuses on triathletes, the theory could be applied to anyone involved in endurance athletics.  As an Ironman triathlete, Tim realizes the taxation that triathletes put on their bodies, not only during the race but more importantly during training . Triathletes need to learn correct movement strategies for their bodies to work efficiently and minimize risk of injury. This book gives the triathlete exercises to assist in developing good movement patterns as well as providing a base to guide the movement professional through a functional analysis. It is due out at the end of 2012.
