ABOUT ME

Since earning my degree from the University of Virginia, I have dedicated my life to functional movement education. From 2005-2007 I worked as a pilates instructor and strength coach in the Washington, DC area. In 2007 I became a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer. In 2008 I moved to Brazil to educate and certify pilates instructors in the STOTT PILATES® method. Currently I live between Charlotte, NC and Austin, TX and am a Lead Instructor Trainer for STOTT PILATES as well as an International Trade Show Presenter.
After noticing the need to bridge the gap between fascial release and neuromuscular reeducation, I founded the MYOFASCIAL MOVEMENT™ project. The goal of this project is to provide movement educators with low load neuromuscular system to progress "post rehab" clients prior to taking on more aggressive modalities such as personal training, yoga or pilates. In addition, I am currently writing a book with STOTT PILATES® Program Specialist, Sally Belanger, entitled Inside-Out Training. Since starting this book we have developed a course around this methodology as well.
